Introduction Text I am the mother of 4 children and 12 grandchildren. I am active in my church community and volunteer at a middle school. I am a breast cancer survivor and I have had three knee replacement surgeries (Right total, Left partial, Left total) I am a perfect yo-yo dieter. However, though I sometimes let those failures defeat me, I now see that I have learned many things a long the way. I am going to focus on that learning instead of the times I have not reached my goal. I am ready to give this another try!

My short term goal is to weigh 178 pounds or less by December 31st. I weighed 202.4 on August 22nd, 2018. My daily short term goals are daily behaviors: exercise 6 days/week for at least 30 minutes, strength train 2-3 times /week, eat within my calorie range AND record it in Spark People. I sometimes get tripped up with the scale so I am only weighing once a month.

I am eating nutritiously balanced meals and attempting to work out 6 days a week .
