Introduction Text Ten years ago I was very healthy and excercised everyday. In April of 2000 I walked a marathon in Nashville, Tennessee for the Lymphoma society. But in October of 2000 I was diagnosed with Lupus and my entire life changed. In April of 2008 I had to quit work because of Lupus and am now on disability. Adding insult to injury I am also out of shape and 45+ pounds overweight. Since leaving work and the stress behind I am doing much better and decided to start exercising. A few months ago I bought a bicycle to ride around my neighborhood but was only able to manage a few yards. That was the turning point for me. So here I am ready to start.

My main goal is to become healthier. I have Lupus which causes pain in my joints. Having less weight on my joints will be very helpful. My second goal is to look better and be able to wear some of my favorite clothes again.

Right now I don't have a program.
