I'm a 51 year old wife and mother. I need to lose weight, but my main goal is to get healthier. If I don't do it now, I will pay the consequences later. Last year, I tore my meniscus and had surgery. It's still painful at times. I can walk quite a ways (5 miles a couple of weeks ago), but stairs are a killer.
