I just saw your post to my page. Don't give up. I know how hard it is not to let hormones and emotional chaos trap you in front of the fridge, snack cupboard or sonic drive-in, but just think. The good habits you develop you will be able to pass on to your children, especially your daughter, so she will not have to live with the same problems. It will get better and I hope that the DR can help give you some good ideas for her too. 5003 days ago

You are welcome. My motivation is my faith but also I will never forget how my doctor responded to me when I said " I have 3 children and how in the world can I exercise? He said that is your problem that was I was frist diagnosed. He was right of course (He didn't have to be so rude about it) I have learned how to work around his awful bedside manner (prayer). Now he supports me in anything that I want to do within reason. His words "that is your problem" made me upset but it got my attention. At my last appointment I had lose about 5 more pounds. He called me skinny (what a joke). I sure hope that you can motivate some how. I can't say that I am an expert I only try. sparkmail if you like sometimes. Maybe on our low days we can encourage each other. Be blessed and have a good day. 5006 days ago

I just noticed that you and I are on some of the same teams. I struggle with dieting to but I'm determined to stay off meds as long as I can. If I have take them that will be another story. I have diabetes and have been controlled by exercise and diet and prayer for 6 years. I wish you the best on your journey to weight loss. You can do it. I an emotional eater also. So if you are too I invite you to join our team called Just Do it. It is a great team where you can be honest about your feelings about food etc without being judged. It is great. 5006 days ago
