Thanks for the message to my blog. I think we all should live by this code. Like the movie "Play It Forward" if everyone did one good deed a day for someone else, how GREAT would that be. Good Luck with the Police Academy. My niece (picture on my sparkpage) just graduated with a Criminal Justice Degree, but wants to go into Corrections. She has been out of school since May 3, and feels depressed because she does not have a job yet. I told her to relax, take her time and find a job she will love, but NOOOOO...... she starts working at Red Robin Restaurant tomorrow. I guess I should be thankful that she wants to work!(Smile) Anyway, just stopped by to show some support.

    Cheers!

    Hello and welcome to SP!
My general advice to anyone who is just starting is to take it slow! You're in this for the long haul, so don't try to rush it. If at any point you get panic-y or want to give up, back off a little and go back to the basics- drink water, get some exercise, and make some good food choices. Those are pretty much the backbones for a healthy life, and if you stick with those (notice I said "some" not "all"), you will eventually find what you are here for. Its easy to get all excited and start out with a bang and there's nothing wrong with that, but there's also nothing wrong with backing up sometimes to keep it simple!
Best of luck with all of your goals, and if you even need anything we're all here for you!

Welcome and congrats on taking the first step. Read all of the articles and try different strategies like mixing up foods. What I found that work for me is adding protein with each meal.

Good luck and any help you need along the way feel free to ask..

    Talk to u soon emoticon
