Introduction Text Been at this about a year and a half. I'm down almost 70. YEAH! Need to lose another 31 (as of 10/6/09). Wish me luck!

To head in the right direction.

Just trying to do better than I was doing. Baby steps.

Married 48yrs., two grown children, two grandchildren, worked as an Interior Designer for ten yrs., owned two toy and gift shops, retired with the expectation of my husband's business of 25yrs. supporting us. Due to new technology, THE BUSINESS IS OVER and now we are newly very poor. Sitting in the house brooding, hidding from all my old friends (NO money to go anywhere or do anything), gaining weight has brought me here. Have the grandchildren over for dinner every Tuesday night. The best time of the week. In fact, other than that, I'M READY TO GO!!!

A political "junkie" (C-Span and all) A liberal hoping for a new direction in our country National health care is the ONLY way to truly eliminate ALL the wasted cost of maketing, ALL the wasted administrative cost, ALL the wasted cost of lobbying, ALL the wasted cost of ENORMOUS profits that feed the health care insurance profits! NONE of which does ONE thing for anyone's ACTUAL health care!!!!!!!!!!
