Introduction Text Time for a lifestyle update. Working from home hasn’t been kind to my body. I pledge to focus on micro goals without losing the big picture. My Why: I want to be healthy so that I can take care of my parents, my sister (if need be), our pets, and myself and not be a burden on others. My Reality Check: According to my employer’s reopening plan (filed with the state health authority), employees with a BMI over 30 are considered high-risk, will not be allowed back on campus, and must continue working remotely.

Starting weight is 225 lb. on June 20, 2020. Goal weight is 150 lb. by November 27, 2021. 75 lbs. in 75 weeks or an average of one pound per week.

START MOVING: -- Get back to my morning stretches. -- Do a 30 second Wakeout (an app) every 1-2 hours during my work day. -- Walk in the closest park twice a day. From my kitchen door, around the lower loop, and back is 1/3 mile and takes about 10 minutes.
