Happily married. Love being at home and doing homey things. Have my own cleaning business. Love what I do. My cats are my children.
My husband is my best friend.
I actually have email in my spark mail account from 2009. So I have been around here for awhile. Lately though I have really started to be active on this website. I am actually starting to be able to find things and use them to my advantage.
About three months ago I started to go through the Spark Coaching program. I cannot say enough about how it has gotten me back on track.
Between 2015 and 2016 I lost over 90 pounds. I gained a few pounds back and didn't do anything about it right away. Now I am reactivating and losing those few pounds. What I find interesting is that I am really struggling with the last three pounds or so. Even more interesting is that my measurements with the exception of a couple of areas are almost identical.
I can only attribute that to the fact that I have started exercising every day! Before I was only doing yoga and sometimes Walk Away the pounds. Recently I bought Nicole from Spark Fit, Firm and Fired Up and 28 day Bootcamp. I did seven days of Fit Firm Fired ten minutes a day. To my surprise just like Chris Downie said, it led to more minutes each day. Exercise to me has always been like the plague. Not anymore. It is like breathing now!

Right now doing the Standard Process purification program. Will continue to cycle through this until I reach my goal. Fitness is my next step.

    The simple way to make your life happier is through your attitude, and adjusting it when needed, just as you would adjust the sails on a sailboat to catch the wind to propel you forward. It’s all about how you respond to the little things in your life - your thoughts, your beliefs, your opinions.

    All of our habits, and beliefs are learned. Changing your thoughts is a habit. You have to consciously practice it, and with consistent effort you will find your thoughts changing to. Much of this centers around how your thoughts shape what happens in your day.
    For example, instead of saying, “I can get to everything on my To Do List today”, re-phrase it to “I will get to everything on my To Do List today”. This alters how our subconscious processes our thoughts - now promises - to ourselves.

    We are innately programmed for negative thoughts because it helps to keep us safe. learning to recognize and re-phrase your thoughts into something positive will help move you forward, and ultimately will make your life happier, which will make you happier.

    Of course, this will take time; it won’t happen overnight, or in just a few days. However, consistently putting this into practice will eventually help to re-shape your subconscious, and it will become easier. Plus, you’ll be much happier!

    It’s Friday! Our favorite fun-time! So here are some punnies that are pretty funny!

    A German farmer with relatives in the US sent them a package consisting of some pork sausages made from his old pig. When they complained that the package had not yet arrived, he wrote: "Cheer up. The wurst is yet to come."

    Did you hear about the dog who ran two miles to bring back his master's stick? Personally, I think it's a bit far-fetched.

    Two boll weevils grew up in South Carolina. One went to Hollywood and became a famous actor. The other stayed behind in the cotton fields and never amounted to much. The second one, naturally, became known as the lesser of two weevils.

    Two Eskimos sitting in a kayak were chilly, but when they lit a fire in the craft, it sank, proving once again that you can't have your kayak and heat it too.
