Four surgeries in the last two years have set me back a bit. But I've turned the corner and am coming on strong.

The nine years I have been a member have been great. I have learned so much about how to improve myself, from the site itself and the other members that have become my friends. I have come to rely on the encouragement and support that I get from all. I'm grateful for what I have learned and am looking forward to finding new ways to improve myself.

My Goals:
I want to eat and exercise correctly every day. I want to improve myself: learn something new every day, stay in a schedule that is good for me, and help others when I can.


My Program:
I am learning more with each passing day and finding more ways to improve myself. Stress and anxiety have been my biggest problems and I've been working hard to overcome them. I sometimes let myself slack on my schedule and am always working on that.



Personal Information:
I am from Detroit. I lived in Alabama for 14 years, but came back home to help with Mom in 2010. May of 2015 brought me back to Huntsville, AL. I live with my youngest daughter and granddaughter in my oldest's daughter's house. My oldest and her husband live 3 minutes away. My email address is pattyklaver@yahoo.com


Other Information:
I love reading, arts and crafts, sports, and spending time with family and friends. I enjoy spending time on SP.
I am spending a great deal of time with Helena, my granddaughter, and loving every minute of it.

    The exercise physiologist gave his presentation on water, and all the reasons you should drink it, how much, etc. Most of which I already knew, but it never hurts to be reminded to drink water. Then he did the walk with everyone afterwards and I could have asked him a question if I'd had one, but nothing really sprang to mind. He seemed to be a really nice guy though, and genuinely interested in helping people. Nice change of pace from Mr. I-Don't-Wanna-Be-Here from the last walk!
