In It for the Long Haul


I started on this adventure in January 2010 to "fix" a bad knee. I have a lot in common with Humpty Dumpty. It seems like I am always rehabing from some injury. I am making progress though and am a lot fitter than I was a few years ago and have maintained a 25 pound weight loss.

    Thanks for your nice comment on my "First Ever Ride with Strangers" blog. I suppose we all have our own pace on a bike. I guess my pace is a bit above average. The more I ride my cheap bike, the more I like it. I was concerned that the bottom of the line Allez would not have the stuff to keep up with high-end machines. That does not appear to be the case.

    Thank you for stopping by to read my blog and leave a nice comment. This has been a crazy summer and I've been feeling pretty overwhelmed for most of it. I'm glad to hear that Adrian is doing well and growing and thriving. Isn't it funny how a new puppy overwhelms your time and mind the same way a new baby does!! LindyLou is still a LOT of work and attention but now she is able to play in the house with a little less supervision. She's such a little MINX. I'm going to put her in puppy classes soon, so she isn't so hard to walk with lol
