    Hey girlie...just checking up to see how you are doing. I messed up my left ankle doing something (God knows what) so I've only been able to walk and lift weights (no crazy cardio for me). emoticon

    Thanks for the congrats ... LOL ... had no idea what had hit today when I saw so many comments on my sparkpage ... and nope, you're right, crossing fingers and wishing on stars will give you nothing but arthritic joints and a stiff neck by the time you get to my age ;)

    Seriously, now ... the site. I've lost the links but the best one is the American Lung Association's Freedom from Smoking Online Program ... try ala.org or just google Lung Assn... the other one that has a neat gadget that keeps your stats like forever is quitnet.com

    I had good luck in the beginning with the patches, only stayed on the strongest one a little over 3 weeks, then also a little longer on the middle dose, and after I was down to the smallest patch I started totally forgetting to put it on after a few days. The main thing, no matter how you do it, is getting your head psyched and really believing in yourself and wanting to do it more than anything else. The Lung Assn's program has all kinds of stuff for you to do to get you to that state of mind, where there's no kidding yourself anymore.
