I am a special education teacher in Missouri and absolutely love my job! I was put on some medication about 3 years ago and gained about 35 pounds in less than 3 months..needless to say I went off the medication, but the pounds did not come off! I am really ready to get this weight off for good!!

Fitness Minutes: 205

My Goals:
My goal is to wear shorts this summer and go to the pool without feeling embarassed!
No more feeling self conscious ~
Exercise 5-6 times a week :D
Spring in on the way and I want to wear my "cute" clothes again!!

My Program:
My program....exercise at least 5 days a week - good mix of aerobic and strength! Focusing on TURN UP THE HEAT....seems to really work and even if I splurge a little I'm still eating waaaay better than before and not feeling like a failure!

Personal Information:
I am the mom of 2 fabulous boys, 12 and 14, and my 14 year old just made the varsity golf team - he SO deserves it!! I love to be active outdoors, love to read, and love scrapbooking! I live about 40 minutes west of St. Louis on 3 acres with my husband, boys, 3 dogs, and 2 cats. My husband would like 300 acres, but 3 is at enough for a golf green in the back 40 and he and my son can practice golf out there!

Other Information:
My favorite movies are romantic comedies and realistic fiction history/war movies (a love story mixed in never hurts!)..LOVE the movie "Holiday" My most favorite book of all time is To Kill A Mockingbird which I read 30 years ago in the 8th grade for the first time and have read it 4 or 5 times since...that book and the movie "Roots" had a HUGE impact on my life and still do to this day.

    Would you like to 'visit' with each other to get you back strong and on plan? I -know- it's not easy to make such drastic changes---even if they ARE healthy changes! Here's what I would do if I were struggling: Commit to making just 2 - 3 daily meals TUTH-based with the goal of eventually getting back to it as you're able to.
