Introduction Text Hello everyone, I am a wife and a mom of 2 young women. I had a physical last year and everything was great except my weight and cholesterol. I am a grandmother of a 5 and 3 year old and want to be healthy. Also, I would like to be able to keep up with the little ones. My children were and are hyper-involved in sports, as were and are their husbands, therefore the "babies" are running, tumbling, and climbing too. I know how to loose weight incorrectly and didn't want down that path so I am thankful that I found this site!!! I traveled to Israel and it was wonderful except my weight made my clothes uncomfortable. Uncomfortable is not the right word - hard to breathe especially when hiking.

My goal is to loose more weight to a healthy level for my body type. I am halfway there. And, when the weather is cooler, begin hiking. Well, now that it went from 70 to 20 in 4 hours - Fall, where were you - when it gets warmer begin hiking. There are so many trails around here and would love to explore! Also, I would love to learn to rock climb.

I am following the nutrition plan and enjoying it! I love the variations that I can choose for the food items. The difficult part is that I am a teacher and we are always being fed by generous and wonderful parents and businesses ~ Dough nuts and Cookies and Cakes -- Oh My!
