I want to stay motivated and maintain a healthy lifestyle so that I can enjoy my retirement & travel with my DH. I've seen too many people retire and then just go downhill, energy and health-wise. This CAN be the best time of my life but it'll take work and commitment. I want to MAKE IT HAPPEN!

    Hi Deena,
thank you for the goodie today. I am beginning to feel better now. The pain is mostly gone from the stabbing in my head to just a nagging ache in my neck and top of my shoulder blade.
Three days ago I awoke with such minimal pain and I had an energy surge. It felt so good and I was able to be active all day cleaning house and then after dinner went out for my first walk in weeks. I have walked the last 3 days now and although it's only 3-4 mins right now, I know it will come that my stamina will allow me to go longer and farther. I went out at 8:00 am today and will go again after dinner. This will be my best day yet for getting back to power walking..
Thank you for your kindness in caring. I had shingles about 10 years ago but didn't have but a week of nagging ache in my arm. This time was a real killer and I have to say with the stabbing pain in my head non stop for a few days, I wanted to die. Luckily God got me through it and continues to help me heal.
Take care and be healthy and be safe.

    Hugs and friendship

Thanks for the fan. I have the a/c on and a fan blowing the cooler air into the kitchen and my bedroom. I don't ever remember it being so hot and humid so many days.
