Joined the Fall 5% Challenge (go Determined Daisies!), and that's rekindled my Spark! Guess I am destined to keep re-learning that I can't do it by myself. I need to be accountable to someone else (or lots of someone elses) to keep me on track.

Now that I'm back into the swing of things, I find it's pretty easy to stay on track. I love the freedom that the nutrition tracker gives me to set my own eating program. I love the accepting and helpful attitudes of the various Spark communities, and I really love that I'm succeeding!

**Older information**
Just turned 60 (gasp! when did that happen?), and realized it was now or never. It can only get harder as I get older.

Found this site from a casual mention in an e-mail on a completely different topic, and checked it out. Sure glad I did!

I've been successful before with WW meetings, but that doesn't appeal to me this time around. I've also successful using Medifast. I'm really good at taking the weight off, but not so good at maintenance. (Can't blame that on either program - they both have extensive maintenance support. Just me being lazy and falling back on my old habits.)

Determined that 3rd time around is a charm and it will stick.

My Goals:
~ Be kind to myself!
~ Get down to my goal weight and stay there! (Should take me about 6 months @ 1.5 pounds per week.)
~ Stay active.

My Program:
~ Track everything!
~ Stay within my prescribed nutrition ranges - on average. (I'll have some up days and some down days, but will stick with it!)
~ Exercise a minimum of 60 minutes, 5 days per week.
~ Drink lots of water.
~ Stay active on this site to stay motivated and to (hopefully!) motivate others.
