Introduction Text I don't know what the future holds, but I know the One who knows! My resolution is to establish & maintain healthy habits (physical, spiritual & relational) REGARDLESS of the circumstances. My plan is called PRAY-EAT-MOVE PRAY encompasses all things spiritual & relational and is my first prioritiy. EAT means eating mindfully, logging food, staying within SP parameters, cooking more at home, etc. MOVE means intentional exercise, monitoring steps with my pedometer & setting reasonable goals This category also includes establishing household routines to contain the clutter! EVERY DAY, I will start fresh, every 10 days I will analyze, reset my goals and MOVE ON! I will be patient with myself, not expecting 100%, but will be satisfied if I can meet 80% of my plan - life does intervene and I know there will be many days when I will have little or no control over my circumstances. I will REBOOT immediately when I realize I am faltering, which will be often! I will keep my sense of humor! I will encourage & support my Spark Friends - and ask for their help as well! What I have learned from my Spark People journey: - Lifestyle changes are essential to overall fitness & good health. - Set realistic goals to avoid discouragement. - Focus on behavioral changes & not weight loss. - Recognize that change is not easy. - Make moment by moment choices. - Be flexible & allow exceptions. - Be patient and allow myself to adjust & adapt. My goal is to be as fit and healthy as I can be. I want to get out of the "obese" range; (DONE) out of the "overweight" range and into "normal". I hope to improve health issues such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol & triglycerides as well as GERD. I want to have more stamina, be more flexible and feel better in my clothes. I want to be a good role model for my family and friends. I want to simplify and routinize my llife, I want to be grateful for, and ive each day to the fullest. I want to serve the Lord Jesus Christ and bring glory to God according to His purpose for my life. I am not perfect, but I am forgiven! I want to be a good wife, daughter, sister aunt and friend. I want to make a difference in this world.
