I have been overweight my entire life and have gone through it all--emotional eating, eating disorders, crash diets, significant weight gain, you name it! I just reunited with SP after a long hiatus and am so excited to be back! I am outgoing and enthusiastic; I love having fun and laughing--and I am tired of my weight holding me back. I no longer want to be defined by my body, I want to be defined by ME! Please feel free to leave any comments or words of encouragement--I promise I will return the sentiment!
I cannot wait to discover the person I was meant to be. I am starting to realize that my life is full of possibilities. I am young, bright, and have the great luck of receiving an excellent education and the continual support of my family. There is no reason that I should let my weight hold me back anymore.

My Goals:
I would like to lose at least 100 lbs from my starting weight of 246 lbs (so no big deal or anything, haha). I want to reign in my emotional eating habits, and ultimately accept and love my body. Finally, I want to be defined by my self, not my body--I am tired of being the overweight sidekick friend because I am so much more than that! Also, I want to fit into awesome clothes, be able to flirt with boys, and be enviable. ;)

My Program:
-Eating between 1300-1400 calories, trying to get an appropriate amount of carbs, fat, and protein. Tracking everything!
-Drinking 8+ glasses of water and 2-4 glasses of green tea.
-Exercising a lot! Cardio almost every day, mostly elliptical
-Taking a multivitamin every day
-Sparking regularly
Personal Information:
I'm enthusiastic, outgoing, and pretty silly...but because of my weight I have social anxiety issues and confidence problems. Time to change that! While in college, I was part of the amazing sorority Tri Delta...I also enjoy knitting, hanging out with friends, watching TV and reading. I'm extremely close with my family and am a firm believer that the relationships you have in your life are far more important than career achievements. I am extremely passionate about one day starting a family and want lots of kids!
Other Information:
Things I love: My family and friends, books, romantic comedies, cats, animals, babies, small children, knitting, singing, acting, onions, volunteering, photography, gardening, Wales, making lists (haha), art, sleeping and (hopefully) losing weight!

Movies: American Beauty, Pride and Prejudice, Love Actually, The Royal Tenenbaums, 10 Things I hate about you and about a million others
