Introduction Text I have been overweight for most of my life. For the past 15 years, I have moved into the obese category , weighing over 210 pounds at one point. I have gotten to 182 (and lower several times), but I can't seem to get lower and stay there. I am not a dieter -- I don't like to get that caught up in comlicated stuff like food diaries and calorie counting. But something has to give -- I don't want to be in the obese category anymore. 40 is fast approaching and I know it isn't going to get any easier...

*To fit into the size 14 blouse I bought a month ago but is too tight around the chest. * Feel lighter when I run * Get strong LONG TERM - Do one pull up!

* Doing the online food journal to keep track of what I am actually eating * Running to burn calories and get stronger * Using food as medicine -- trying to make things that are good for me easy and fast

I am an identical twin with a total of three sisters. I freelance print design work from home and TRY to keep up with two preschool boys. I am a strong Christian and believe that everything you do in life has a higher purpose.

I am a psych major with a doulbe major in English... however, I don't really like to read. I have been listening to books on CD when I walk and that has been fun. I'm a duel-tasker!
