Becoming A Better Me


I'm quite health concious and decided I didn't want a doctor to dictate to me what I could and couldn't eat, so I've eliminated certain foods from my diet, such as pork and beef. Didn't eat much of it anyway so it wasn't a hard task for me. Want to stay healthy and live a healthy life style

 I have removed all beef and pork frm my diet. Limit my intake of white breads and sweets. I've included water which I had notbeen drinking faithfully.

    So glad you stopped by. I agree about the nursing homes. In the "distant past" I worked as an aide at a couple of them. Loved being able to give even a little to each resident. Kathi's grandmother that she was so close to growing up had altzeiimer's and was in a home. It was so difficult for her. Now, she is finding herself getting attached to some of the people there. Good, but it can also be hard.
    Right now, with her responsibilities at home, she is feeling overwhelmed. I would like to see her continue there for a while at least. Will just have to wait and see.
