Things I need to work on:

Logging in food every day
Avoiding snacking when I get home from work
Developing an exercise program in addition to back stretches
Deep breathing, stress reduction
Continue taking charge of myself and what I need to do, and stop letting things "happen" to me.

Fitness Minutes: 1,882

My Goals:
Have gone from 236 to 208. Would like to lose more. Used to weigh 138 - 145 when I was younger. I'm thinking 180 would be a reasonable goal for now.

My Program:
I went to a weight loss program through my local hospital's outreach. Helped me to jumpstart my diet. During this time, converted to a plant based diet. Love eating this way.

Personal Information:
I have a technical job with a science journal publisher
I love cooking and learning about nutrition
I try to eat healthy and almost entirely plant-based
I enjoy drawing, painting, writing and photography

Other Information:
I am an artist and I have a BFA in Graphic Design and Fine Arts
(and I need to spend more time being an artist and less time playing at being a chef)

I was told by my first grade teacher that I have quite a LUXURIOUS imagination, and
I try to maintain that and use it for good (and not against myself).

    Yes, the thyroid medication helped. (Still on it, of course .. . that's for life). My hair is still thinner than it was before I got sick w/thyroid disease in 1998, but better now than it was. The eyebrows, well, pretty sparse on the outer 1/2 of the eyebrows still. That's pretty easil fixable w/a pencil.

    The main thing was energy. I had NONE till I started on my med. Now it's fine.
