Hi, My name is Tamara and I'm Overweight!
I have been overweight since middle school. I like to blame it on a family trip to California where we ate a big breakfast every morning and was introduced to Sunny Delight! It's like I left Louisiana weighing 70 pounds and came back weighing 130!
It's just gotten worse since then. I have tried to lose weight a few times. Not as many times as most, I'm sure. But this is my last time. Truly! This is my last time TRYING to lose this weight. I'm going to do it!

My Goals:
To walk at 3.5 mph pace for atleast 20 minutes.
To tame the beast - get on the elliptical machine for at least 10 minutes. met 6/7/09 (30 minutes total)
To eat more fruits & veggies daily.
To give up sunflower seeds! (haven't had any since 5/22/09)
To lose 15 pounds by June 27th! met 6/24
To lose 36 pounds total by my 36th birthday (8/28)
My Program:
I am trying to eat more of the fruits & veggies, and foods with more fiber and protein and less of the foods that have no nuitritional value.
I am also doing some sort of physical activity 6 to 7 times a week.
