I am a Christian and my priority is to live my life as God wants me to. When God is in control everything will work out. My family is very important to me.
I have several health issues, but choose not to let them control my life any more than necessary. I need to lose about 20 lbs to get back to a healthy weight. My highest weight was about 185 lbs. I lost the ability to walk and the lbs. packed on. With WW, lots of determination I lost 45 lbs. Since than I have really had to work on keeping it off. With thyroid issues it makes it harder, but I know it can be done.
I like getting to know people of all ages. Everyone has something to offer.
I collect cherished teddies and like teddy bears in general.

Fitness Minutes: 122,425

My Goals:
My goal is to lose 1-2 lbs a month. It doesn't come off very fast, because of thyroid issues, but I won't give up.


My Program:
Counting calories and eating a healthy diet which for me includes a GF diet. I am working with a friend from sparks on tracking our nutrition.



Personal Information:
I am from the TX panhandle. I have 2 daughters who are married. One is a lawyer and the other is a mech. eng. Husband of 40. I have a degree in El.Ed.
I have two grandson and four grand daughter. I recently had a total knee replacement and finding it hard to do the kind of exercises I want. I have low thyroid, and was recently diagnosed with hashimoto thyroiditis. A new thyroid medication was added in addition to my taking melatonin to help me sleep better.


Other Information:
I enjoy reading Christian Novels. I have several authors that I love... Karen Kingsbury and others who write about the Amish.

    I meant to write "3!" instead of 30. It's low carb and won't raise your blood glucose though. It's about insulin. The fiber takes the carb down, reducing insulin release. Have you ever had your A1C done? Insulin?

    How many calories are you down to now? You were about starving ... it's just WRONG. :P

    More sodium than I'd have liked. I know you wouldn't eat it, but we'll see what happens on the scale tomorrow. Whoa, I had 2 mini muffins, and 2 reg. ones, so "30" ... 900 calories! OMG! LOL!!! I'm not worried. (I think ... lol).
