I changed my Profile name from LADILADIDA to THE HINKS to reflect the new focus in my life as a performing artist in my voice and piano duo with my husband.

Every day forward I put my personal health, wellness and joyful pursuit of my best life to the forefront.

I have lost 80 lbs in the past and maintained that weight loss for 3 years. Injury due to over zealousness and a focus on other aspects of my life led me back to my current weight and measurements. I navigate this journey with most of the knowledge, wisdom and power necessary to accomplish my goals and maintain a healthy lifestyle going forward. The rest that I don't know will be a new exploration from this new me I present to the world daily.

Starting Simple:
ITrack Nutrition
I Drink Water.
I Track Movement.
I Meditate.
I Perform.
I Enjoy the Outdoors.
I Share the Experience with Others.
I Sleep Well.
I Measure Progress.
I Adjust as Needed.
Repeat.

Immediate Goals
CHECK! Measure myself and post start pictures.
CHECK! Update Profile
Drink Water daily - 64 ounces a day. (3.5 YETI bottles at 20 oz each
Take a daily walk around the park.
10 minute qigong every day.
Practice yoga twice this week.
Go kayaking once.
Memorize two songs a day.


My Program:
I soften and yield into an activity.
I honor the joy of each moment.
I ask what would bring me the most joy in this moment?
Can I move in the direction of my joy?
Can I do 10 minutes at least?



Personal Information:
I continously enjoy the ourney of self-discovery. I am a wife in love with my husband. I am a classically trained singer and performing artist. I am a yoga practitioner. I enjoy travel and sunshine. I enjoy outdoor activities like kayaking, swimming and hiking. I am a loving sister and aunt. I am a good friend - client - student - employee. I support environmentally sound choices. I support alternative preventative holistic medicine. I am a creative - artistic human being and savvy business woman. I am healthy.

    Are you interested in a Challenge?

    The Biggest Loser goes for 10 weeks. It consists of 10 teams participating in weekly Fitness and Nutrition challenges. The Spring challenge will be getting started the beginning of March. It consists of fitness and nutrition challenges that are often in a form of a game. If for some reason you cannot do a challenge then they are modified to meet your needs. Often we do the challenge in a game form, we have BINGO and TIC TAC TOE or seasonally themed. For Winter we had Help Santa Fill His Sleigh, Run Rudolf Run and Super Bowl. If you decide this might be for you you can leave your name on the waitlist for the Spring challenge.     Hey, thanks so much for your comment, I almost started crying when I read it, but in a good way. Things did get better, at least a little. I read some inspirational blogs and remembered that post about that sparkpeople member who didn't budge from 160 but went from a size 12 to a 6. I tried to just eat when I was hungry today. I went to my friday night gym date with myself and was able to do all the hard moves and jump like I could pre-c-section. Thanks for being there. The night is always darkest before the dawn, right? Most of all, thank you for saying that I am worth something because I am me, not because of all the things I'm supposed to do or take care of. I need to remember that more.
