Hi, I have had fibro (and everything else that goes with it) for about 10 years.

I have cats which really help me emotionally & watch out for me. The one shown in the picture is very special to me and has helped me get through some very difficult times.

I also love to garden, because I just focus on the flowers and digging in the dirt and forget about fibro for awhile.

Fitness Minutes: 135

My Goals:
Increase my participation with Sparks.

Stick to a regular stretching/exercise program.

Pace myself better so I don't overdo it. Give myself days off.

Stop smoking, eat better foods, loose about 20 lbs.

My Program:
 My exercise program fell apart in the last few months. I know that I am the only one who can make myself better. My goal for the new year is to get back on a regular routine and do things I want to do whether it hurts or not.

    Hi Karen,

    Wanted to stop in and thank you for your reply about the tooth extraction problems I've been experiencing. Thankfully it is doing a little better today but is just so aggravating at times and it seems to be going on forever (wah wah ~lol)

    I absolutely love your cats and it makes me miss our baby who died 2 years ago last Nov. I had him for 20 years ~ got him when he was about a year old when he was left at my house. I will have to take pictures with my digital camera of some pictures my husband took of him when we were dating so you can see them. I still miss him even though we now have 3 adorable dogs ~ pictures on my SP page. I've had 3 cats in my life but he was the most loving ~ we could hold him like a baby and rock him and he would purr until he went to sleep.

    I also love your beautiful flowers and miss getting to garden here in TX like I did when I lived in OH, where I am from. My husband is a Texan and since he was still working and I was retired on disability, I moved here to be with him when we married in 2003 (we are moving "back" there ~ for me anyway ~ just don't know when).

    Someday I hope to put some of my story on my page but I also suffer from brain fog, not only from the fibro but from the post polio problems and epstein barr virus that I suffered with for 5 years.... and as much as I hate to admit it, guess I'll throw age in there while I'm at it ~ lol

    Take care of yourself and thanks so much for your well wishes. Enjoy the spring ~ bet the flowers and trees are beautiful (love the fence with it as it really sets them off :) I so miss the seasons and can't wait to get back to Ohio where I can enjoy all that beauty again.
