I am working towards improving my life. I have one grandson and want to be able to play with him without getting winded, and be able to pick him up without "GERD" getting the best of me. Looking forward to meeting others with similar issues, and to be able to share advice and support as well.

I have noticed clothes fitting better, as well as a change in my outlook on life. I have more energy, more desire to eat healthy, and I am liking this better ME!!

It has been a month since I joined SP and I must say I am very pleased with the results. Besides all the support from everyone, and the great tracking site, I have lost 12 lbs, and am 8 lbs away from my first goal weight. Clothes are actually fitting me proper now, and I don't feel like I am squeezed into them. My acid reflux has not bothered me as much, still working on knowing just what to avoid so it doesn't act up, but with eating within my calorie goal, I think that has helped alot. I do not eat late at night anymore, I drink water. I am encouraged to continue so that come this summer I will be able to run and play with my 2 yr old grandson - who is very active and keeps us all very busy.

I am almost at my first goal weight. Am very pleased with this. I have reset a new goal and am now working towards that. I now know I can do this and with all the motivational help from my team members, I can do this.!!

I have enjoyed SP these past 3 months. I could not have lost the weight without the support from my SP friends, or without the nutrition or fitness tracker. It kept me accountable for what I was eating and what I was actively doing. I did get a little off course this past month, but with your encouragement I am heading down the right path again. This month my goal is to lose 8 lbs, and to put in 120 fitness minutes each week. I am determined to do it.

Not having much success in the weight loss - have actually put some back on. Have been trying really hard to stay focused, and to drink my water, and track my food and to exercise. Things are not going well, but today is a new day, and from this day forward i am going to start losing again. Grocery shopping yesterday consisted of fruit and veggies and NO JUNK FOOD. I know I can do this.

My Program:
I am going to the gym and doing the treadmill, circuit routine, swimming. I am also tracking my food intake, to keep within my calorie allowance per day.

I am stepping up my gym routine by adding a fitness class each week.

Personal Information:
I am from Guelph, Ontario, Canada, - married for 27 years, have 2 grown sons, 1 grandson, 1 wonderful daughter- in-law, and one amazing husband, all who have been very supportive everytime I attempt to get into shape.

Other Information:
I enjoy reading - mysteries, true stories,
and to my grandson.
I did play ball, which I loved, but with age came poor eyesight, and it is important to be able to see the ball in this game.
I enjoy the outdoors, and attend as many ball games that my sons play just to be outside.
