One Pound at a Time!
Over the years, I've found it easy to accomplish goals outside of myself (ie; jobs, school, family), but now its time to FOCUS on me!
My plan is to lose 100-110lbs. When I joined SP, I divided the weight loss into two phases of 50lbs, because I thought it would be too much to envision all at once. But..... after reading sooo many successful weight loss stories on this website, I can now comprehend and imagine losing 100lbs! I'm going to do this...ONE POUND at a TIME!

Below, I am starting a list of success quotes that I have seen on this website. These short quotes have really helped me on my journey to better health:
-Success doesn't come to you--you go to it.
-Discipline is remembering what you want.
-Happiness lies in the joy of achievement and the thrill of creative effort." Franklin Roosevelt
-If you run, you are a runner. It doesn't matter how fast or how far. It doesn't matter if today is your first day or if you've been running for twenty years. There is no test to pass, no license to earn, no membership card to get. You just run."
-John Bingham
-If it doesn't CHALLENGE you it doesn't CHANGE you!
-Unknown
- If you are TIRED of starting over, STOP giving up!
-Do or DO NOT, there is no try!
-Jedi Master
-"Now if you are going to win any battle you have to do one thing. You have to make the mind run the body. Never let the body tell the mind what to do. The body will always give up. It is always tired in the morning, noon, and night. But the body is never tired if the mind is not tired."
- George S. Patton, U.S. Army General, 1912 Olympian
- Fall in love with the "process" and the rest will take care of itself. ~Ernestine Shepherd
