I've been successful in achieving a 30 pound weight loss goal through SparkPeople, but not so successful at maintaining that loss. Well, I'm back with the same goal. ... I believe this is, by far, the best health/fitness site out there. It works, but you have to stay committed and work at it. Set realistic goals. In other words,don't make it hard on yourself. Start out with attainable, simple goals, ones that you can find success in a relatively short time frame and then set yourself up with another goal. Nothing wrong with a 10 lb. weight loss goal. Easy than going for 30 right away. ..... Also, it's hard do it on your own. I've found that it takes the support of others to motivate and to keep you headed in the right direction. SparkPeople has the right tools to help you along and there is some awesome, caring teams that offer support. ..... I found out that when I logged in everyday, used the various tools,and interacted within the teams I chose, it was fun and made it easy. ..... I've set my new goals and I've committed to reach them. 2019 will be a good year.
