Nova Scotia Woman, member since Sept 2008. Didn't really start to spark until April 2010 though and now starting again in September, 2016.
Up and Down. Always up and down. I have to get a little obsessed with my eating or I fall off the wagon. Once I start eating junk-food again, it may be 6 months before I can break away.

Being diagnosed with diabetes at age 43 was really scary and straightened me out for a while. I'm looking forward to getting back on track. It's a lot of work and time-consuming, but the energy you get from healthy living is amazing.
Addendum September 2016: I've gained most of my weight back and I'm going to start sparking again with a couple of Spark friends. It's going to take me a year to lose 50 pounds because I cannot realistically lose more than 1 pound per week. It just doesn't happen for me. Frustrating that it comes off so slowly when I see other people peeling it off but that's just how my body works. Can't compare myself to others!
