Hello everyone,
I'm a 23 year old 5'2/3 mother of 3. I had twins in 2007 4 months early so they passed about 6 hours after birth. So now I have a beautiful little girl that was born in 2008. So now.... I'm at it again. Well I'm not going to say again because I've been battling these last 20 lbs for the past year. I started Sparkpeople in (Jan of 2009 at 165 lbs). But my all time highest weight was (185lbs in 2008). I was very lucky that I breastfed and lost almost 20 after walking and with the help of breastfeeding. I got down to my starting point at 165 lbs. I got down to 145 the following May 2009. You can see that part of my life if you scroll down to update (June 2009). I was counting calories and I got down to 140 lbs from 158 lbs from June 2009 to Oct 2009. I thought I was ready to give up my calorie counting days to eat regularly. But I was surprised that I would gain most of it back within a few months. Which ended me at 152 lbs in Jan 2010... only 6 pounds away from my 2nd starting over point in July 2009. It has been a tough battle. I have never been a exercise person but these past two years has been wonderful! Exercising keeps me sane and I love it more than ever. I have another issue that I'm in the process of changing now. I love to exercise (nearly 6 times a week) but I love to eat too (health and unhealthy foods)! Those two don't go together because it doesn't help my weighloss at all. Now you see why I've been the same weight for the 8 months lol. So now for the past 2 weeks I've been getting myself back together and concentrating more on nutrition since I have the exercise part down. Luckily I've dropped back down to 147 lbs from going up to almost 155 lbs when visiting family (I ate way to much those few weeks)! I have this goal that I want to get to.... I'm planning to lose at least 2 lbs every week until I hit my goal weight of 130! 130 will be my happy/maintence weight and if I lose more then that's ok too!

My first goal is loosing 10 lbs that will put me at 137!!!!!!
Second goal is 7 lbs... which will get me to 130!
Third goal is to be at 20 % body fat which I'm 30% now..

We can do this.... I can do this! I'm not going to let myself down.... I want to be healthy fit and confident!!!! Let's do this together!!!

*Tips that has helped me throughout my weight loss journey*...

1) I've figured out that water is very important while loosing weight... if you don't have enough water in your body. You may feel bloated and terrible which may cause water weight gain!
2) Drink no less than 8 glasses (8ozs) of water a day. Drink water loose weight!
3) It's all about discipline.... don't let the food control you... We control the food!

I'll share more tips about my weightloss journey as I get to my goal! Just continue to dedicate yourself and you will succeed :)

I joined this website in seek to find motivation and some great advice to loosing weight and getting in shape! I have a daughter and while I was pregnant I gained 25 pounds. Well now I am back at my pre pregnancy weight. But I want to get to 130 which is healthy for my height being that I'm a shorty 5'2. This is my second time around! The first time I was 165 Jan. 09' and ended up at 143 April 09'. Once my husband came back from deployment I threw all my good eating habits out the window and picked up my bad ones and maybe even more. There's no turning back now..... I just want to be healthy, fit, and looking good! Good luck to everyone during their weight loss journey!!!! Once again.... I started back eating terrible because of all the holidays and I need to get back on track!!!

Lose 5 pounds (142lbs)

Lose 10 pounds (137 lbs)

Lose 15 pounds (132 lbs)

Lose 2 more pounds! (130 lbs)

First main goal is loosing 10 lbs that will put me at

My Program:
I'm a YMCA FAN!!!! I love the classes they have there. I attend Zumba, Finning, Power cut, and other great classes they have. I usually do cardio classes, swim, or run 3 to 5 times a week for about a hour each plus I'm a lover of weights too! Strength training about 3 times a week. I'm drinking no less than 10 glasses of water a day and eating 3 healthy meals and 3 snacks a day!

Personal Information:
I'm married to the love of my life! I'm a Navy Wife and I have a beautiful daughter that is a very busy 2 year old. I'm truly blessed and I can't complain not one bit!!!!

    Thanks for adding me as a friend--of course I added you as well!! I just want you to know that so many of us are in the same boat as you & are here to listen to you, cheer you up or cheer you on. You can do this! Just remember there will be good days & bad days--never beat yourself up over one bad day, just realize it's over & done--on to the next... Tomorrow will bring a new day but it's up to you to make everything a-okay again!! And you can--you can do this! You got this!
