I started my journey on May 29, 2018 and set a starting goal of 30# in 3 months. I am so proud of myself. I officially made it on August 12, 2018, more than two weeks ahead of schedule! I am feeling so much better. I started out barely able to walk a 1/2 mile in a 1/2 hour and now I am walking a full mile plus at 22 minutes. My advice is to just start! Onto my next goal of another 30# in 3 months.

I am down 40# today. I can't believe it. So very excited. I still have a long way to go but seeing these pictures side by side really makes all the hard work worth it. Down 70 pounds since May 29! I can't believe it! This is the same dress. I had a minor set back with Thanksgiving but got right back into things and lost the 2 pounds I gained plus another 3. Lesson of the day: just keep going. Forgive yourself for a setback and keep moving forward. Thank you to my spark family for keeping me motivated and accountable. #BeforeAndAfter

The first is a picture from two weeks later when i was down 12. I am currently down 80 pounds!!!! I am half way to my goal and I am so very proud of myself. Thank you to all my Spark friends who have helped me stay motivated and focused. The holidays were hard to get through and keep to my meal plans. #80Down #BeforeAndAfter

Finally made to my first major goal. From 297 to 199 and into Onederland in 9.5 months! 2 more pounds and I will have lost 100. Feeling amazing.

I am still in disbelief. 121 pounds gone in 13.5 months. I have had my good days.
I have had my bad days. I have always had the support of my SparkPeople friends.
If I can do it, you can do it.
I have 12 more pounds to lose until I hit another huge milestone: having my bmi be in the overweight category instead of obese.

Decade challenge. I am not sure on my weight in the 2009 photo. I was 6 months pregnant with my first child. I have lost 135 pounds in this past decade but I have gained so much more. Three beautiful children, an amazing sense of self, and health. I can't wait to see what the next ten years brings. #BeforeAndAfter

A picture says a thousand words and I think this one speaks volumes. This is what happened when I dared to say to myself "I want to see what happens if I don't give up." That curiosity is what has kept me going.
On a side note, take pictures throughout your journey. Take measurements as well. The scale may not be moving sometimes, but the photos and measurements don't lie #facetoface
