Elijah is in third grade and Wyatt is crawling and picking himself up.See this image largerMe and Wyatt went on our first trail today. It was beautiful but rough. I am out of shape. Restarting this time was easier than last time. I am about 20 pounds heavier this time than I was last time. Definitely was sweaty. I also somehow got my 5,000 step goal in before 10am this morning. I snagged my moms ymca membership card since she’s not going or using it. I’ll use it and the child care there. I would have stayed longer but I had a meeting at the school. I think I’m gonna go every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.See this image largerAnother day and another 30 easy minutes on the elliptical. Didn’t go as far but that’s life and to be expected. I still can’t believe how easy it is to get back on track with my fitness and how much stamina I have. Last year I was 20 pounds lighter and could barely do 5 minutes on the elliptical. I went almost 15 minutes before taking a mini break.See this image larger30 minutes turned into over an hour. My legs wouldn’t stop.See this image largerweek 7 of my streak for "Exercise for at least 90 minutes per week" earned 11/18/2017See this image largerI'm curious to know where everybody would go. Personally I would go to Sam's Club and stock up on stuff like beef, chicken, turkey, salmon and tilapia. As well as bell peppers so I can dice it up and put it into a bag. Everything would go into a deep freezer.See this image largerday 600 of my streak for "Log in and spin the SparkPoints wheel" earned 12/12/2017See this image largerOooh lalala look at today’s weigh in! Aren’t they cute?! I got both of them built yesterday. Today I put them in my room and took out mom’s nightstand. I just have to finish cleaning and organizing my bedroom. I love having matching furniture and organization and a clean room. Can not wait to be done. If only I could get the crib and my bed to match. Goals tho.See this image largerAnd this is why I love going to consignment sales. Spent $157 on clothes for both boys, books for Elijah and a camera bag for me.See this image largerMy room is coming along nicely. I still have some work to do but it’s getting there. All 3 sunflower seeds, all 4 tomato seeds and 2 of the 3 okra and some carrot seeds have sprouted. So exciting!!See this image largerDay 2 of not having to water the plants thanks to rain. It’s fixing to storm. I repotted the spider plant into a smaller pot with some new dirt in hopes to get some more babies and faster and that it’ll get bigger. Put the plants on the steps to get rained on I am loving my little garden. My goal is to have a bigger garden for more veggies and more flowers.See this image largerI put my sunflowers into their pots today. Once my tomatoes get a little bit bigger I am going to put them into their pots. I’m excited too see all of my seeds sprouting. I cannot wait to pick some veggies this summer. Still waiting on my mint to sprout. I am grateful for the longer growing season. It’s super comfortable and I was able to surprise Elijah with it.See this image largerMy garden is growing. Yesterday I discovered some okra growing and 2 cucumbers growing!! It won’t be long before we are picking some veggies!! The plants got soaked with the storm last night.See this image largerFirst of many sunflowers to bloom!! It is so pretty!! Love how the garden is coming around.See this image largerWyatt with our first cucumber and Elijah with a purple carrot!! We are going to eat the cucumber today as we had some yesterday for lunch. Elijah said the purple carrot tastes like a regular carrot. Going to wait another week or so to pick more carrots. Can’t wait to see what other colors we have growing.See this image largerSoaked all of my garden on Friday and gave them some plant food and soaked them again. Yesterday the dirt was still wet so I didn’t water the garden. This afternoon all of my plants were wilted so we soaked them again. Every but 3 of my tomato plants have perked up. Please tell me there’s hope if I water my plants everyday that they will perk up again. I’ll be upset if I lose them.See this image largerWent to the farmers market yesterday. Loving how my little garden is turning out.See this image largerPicked my first two tomatoes yesterday and my first pepper today. Yesterday went to food lion and spotted a NY strip steak on managers special for $2.18 and today had broiled okra, tomato and pepper and steak for lunch. I love picking and eating fresh veggies from the garden and I love Manager’s specials on meat. Saves me a ton of money and it’s still tasty.See this image largerPicked a few things when I watered my garden yesterday!! This is the best part of having a garden.See this image largerElijah’s cactus loves being in a bigger pot. It has grown so much since I replanted it in the spring. My spider plant has doubled since I cut the babies off that were starting to root. Babies are doing well in the water and are growing roots and will be ready to plant soon.See this image largerSo many peppers on one plant!! So many more to come on all of the plants. Love my garden!See this image largerI have purple bell peppers!! I don’t know if they are on the same plant or different plants but either way I’m not complaining because my favorite color is purple.See this image largerRepotted my one spider plant and added the 5 babies to the pot. This week on the radio I’ve been hearing the weather man has been saying there’s a 30% chance of an afternoon thunderstorm today. Yes please!! It’s my birthday and I love a good storm. Last year it rained on birthday and the end of the rainbow was in my backyard. Chocolate@chip cream cheese dip. It is so yummy!!See this image largerUpgraded my bed from a twin to a queen. Not all of my blankets have made it on my bed yet but I’ll get the rest on there. It’s nice to have more space to sprawl out in. It’s still a work in progress tho.See this image largerHow on earth is this boy 3 years old already? It seems like just yesterday I was at the hospital waiting for him to be born.See this image largerSo I did a thing today. I am donating roughly 21 inches of hair. I have emailed two different organizations.See this image largerWe are getting closer to spring arriving. I’m looking forward to taking my workouts outside and taking the boys to the park. Today is supposed to be a dry day. It rained Monday-Thursday this past week and having the sunshine and blue skies have been nice.See this image largerIt’s spring time and Elijah’s cactus got its yearly pot upgrade. Can’t wait to see how big it gets this year.See this image largerYesterday we went on a nature hike at the church which sits on about 45 acres of land. There’s a lake and 4 cabins on the property. The joys of spring brings tadpoles and there’s a ton in the lake. More than I have ever seen before. Elijah was able to hold some in his hands as he scooped them up. He did safely put them back. Wyatt discovered an anthill and some ants got on his hand. I did get them off of him as quickly as I could. We had a picnic in the bed of the truck.See this image largerSee this image largerYesterday I did a thing!! It’s one of my favorite times of the year. I planted seeds for my garden. Added a couple of things this year. Switched a couple of things around. I am trying to grow some mint again and I’m hoping to be able to do that. I didn’t have any luck last year with it. Here’s to my 2020 garden and some home grown veggies.See this image largerTook the boys for a walk at the Graniteville cemetery for a walk after dinner last night. A group of Christians had put in a 92 foot cross. You can see it for miles as you are driving. One of these days I am going to learn how to fly my drone and then take it up there. I love the view that is by the cross. There are trees covered with Spanish moss. There are graves that go back to the 1800s.See this image largerWent “hiking” tonight after dinner. I’ll take a mile (or more) in the woods than a mile (or more) around the track any day. Mom loves walking in the city. We took a different trail than the last time we went. There are still plenty of trails in these woods to take. Just gotta watch out for horse dropping as it doubles up as a horse trail.See this image largerOn Wednesday we went on a different trail in the same woods. So pretty. Loved the flowers.See this image largerLoving all of the things coming up in my garden! The zucchini plants are really doing well. Cannot wait to see what kind of crop I get this year.See this image largerMy garden is growing!! I added some spearmint and lavender today. I have peppermint and spearmint now. First time growing lavender. I am hoping to bring the mint plants and lavender inside when it gets cold.See this image largerI got this for Mother’s Day yesterday for my instant pot. Can anybody guess what’s for breakfast?!See this image largerWhile watering my garden yesterday I found some buds on my bratty zucchini (it acts like I don’t water it daily). I am loving how my garden is turning out and soon enough I’ll be picking more than just mint.See this image largerTook the boys to the beach for a couple of hours today.See this image largerElijah’s teachers stopped by for a surprise porch visit yesterday. Elijah had no clue they were coming over until he took the blindfold off and saw them. Wyatt wanted in the picture too. Elijah couldn’t stop smiling the whole time they were here and showed them the garden.See this image largerSee this image largerWent on a hike after dinner tonight. It was definitely humid and everybody was super sweaty when we were done. We got home before the storm. Even with the hills (which are great for the butt) a mile in the woods is better than a mile around the track.See this image largerLooking at my garden yesterday and I found some veggies!! There are at least 4-5 zucchini’s and a few green beans and at least one cucumber with plenty more flowers. I cannot wait to start picking and eating them.See this image largerMy garden is growing nicely!See this image largerShoe shopping is exhausting when you are entirely way too picky about the way shoes fit. Went to academy this morning and it took forever to find two pairs of shoes that work with the inserts. The doctor saw some arthritic changes to the top of my left foot. Add flat feet to it and it’s not so much fun.See this image largerInside that box is a rowing machine. I’m going to row myself to a smaller size.See this image largerSee this image largerGot up early enough to use the rowing machine this morning. Our rowing machine does kilometers and miles. It can only get better from here. Played around with the resistance a bit today.See this image largerI love going to Food Lion. Grabbed two bags of cherries. Couldn’t resist. Won’t last until the weekend.See this image largerMom calls me and says she did something and I was like do I need to pack up the boys and go somewhere and she’s like it’s not bad. I asked what she did and she said she bought a treadmill. I asked where we were going to put it and she’s like I don’t know.See this image largerSee this image largerToday on the rowing machine was more about strength than distance. I kept the resistance between 4-6 for the 15 minutes I was on it. I definitely felt the resistance. I’ll get better as time goes on.
