This little scarecrow has my heart!! I've packed on so many pounds again! I'm now at my all time highest weight. I'm tired of losing and putting weight back on. I want to stay on track! I've got three months before my sons wedding and my goal is to lose 25 lbs by then. A week ago today was the last time I seen him alive. It's going to be rough day today. Please give me strength!Every journey is better when you laugh!Dinner: Baked pork chop breaded w/ crushed pork rinds and seasoning with a side of zucchini noodles w/broccoli, carrots, and cauliflower. 318 calories and 4 net carbs. The breading was awesome - first time using pork rinds for anything. Yum!Took an afternoon walk today to pick up my grandson from school. 34 degrees and beautiful!Delicious lunch: Baked chicken tenders coated w/crushed pork rinds, seasoning and ranch for dipping along with sauteed zucchini rounds with salt, pepper, and garlic. 341 calories with 6 net carbs.Excellent lunch: Left over shredded pork quesadilla with a dollop of sour cream/salsa and fresh fruit for dessert. 362 calories and 14.9 net carbs. Absolutely delicious! YUM!! Love using Mission low carb tortillas.Got my walk in today! Walked to pick up my grandson from daycare. Easy 2 miles when its sunny and nice out.Morning breakfast!Down 2.6 pounds this week...Yay!Just did my work out - 75 minutes of shoveling snow...is it spring yet?Out of eggs 😳...so I made a bacon w/chicken and cheese quasidilla for breakfast with a side of fresh fruit. (383 calories and 13 net carbs) Tastes delicious! Yum!!Drinking my lemon water!3.14 and I did not have any pie today! So proud of myself.

Great for mornings like today when I don't have time to make a hot breakfast. 30g of protein, 160 calories and 3 net carbs.Lost 3 pounds this week!! Yay!! Maybe I've finally broken through that plateau I've been fighting.Found a great tasting low carb multigrain bread. Only 45 calories and 6.5 net carbs per slice. A great treat for when I'm craving a slice of bread. Only $2.50 a loaf at Sam's Club.Happy Easter to you and your families!I'm down a little again this week...slow but steady!Lost a couple more pounds since Wednesday's weigh in day. Feeling good and been very positive. Thanks for all the positive comments on my last post, it was so encouraging! Slow but steady that's what's important!Went to the cabin yesterday and as you can see still too much snow to drive in. So the kids and I walked up to the cabin. Half mile in and half mile out. It was a beautiful walk. Only about 45 degrees but the sun was warm. Fresh air and hike through the snow felt so good. Cabin has always been my retreat! 😎Goal for May...make sure I'm getting 7-8 hours of sleep a night. For years I've had such disruptive sleep. I'd wake up 2-3 times a night...lucky to get 3 hours of uninterrupted sleep. In the past week and a half, since I started my sleep log, I'm finally getting 6... some days 7 hours of uninterrupted sleep a night. The weather was beautiful!Got 7 hours of uninterrupted sleep but I'm still so tired! 😴3 plus hours of raking, cutting wood, stacking and picking up branches. Great day outside with my little helpers! ❤I finally passed the 20 pound loss mark since January...this past week I lost 3 pounds! Woo hoo!!Great trip today lots of walking...just under 2 hours. Beautiful sites along our way as well. Enjoying the simple things in life!Had a great day at the cabin yesterday with the kids. We got a lot of work done and had fun doing it. The weather was beautiful! Looking forward to many more weekends at the cabin. Being outside and keeping active. Living life...not just watching anymore.Great day yesterday...plenty of walking and hiking along the waterfalls. It was so refreshing with 79 degrees and a light breeze. Beautiful place to see!We did about 2 hours walking and hiking yesterday up and around Bond Falls! Absolutely beautiful weather; plenty of sun, about 79 degrees with a gentle breeze! Got a good amount of cardio along with great workout on the legs.Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!This is one of the reasons I'm out being active...keeping up with my 3 year old grandson. Love love love spending time outside with him!!Slow but steady...progress is still progress! I don't see it as much as I feel it. Walked 3 plus hours on Monday and didn't even have to stop and rest. Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!Enjoyed the weekend but got too much of an upper body/arm workout in, trimming all the branches along our driveway and pathways. Did that all on Sunday and am still feeling the soreness this morning. But the weekend was still so awesome and enjoyed the quality family time.
Happy Tuesday! 😁Lost this wonderful man Saturday evening at the young age of 48, due to congestive heart failure. 😥 He was my nephew that I've been very close to and I just can't believe he's gone! Please keep my family and I in your thoughts. July has been a difficult month...I'm ready to move on to August and hope it has happier days in store.Up and getting ready for the cabin. Love spending time at the cabin with the kids. Nature, no electricity, campfires, cookouts, outdoors beauty and relaxation! Just what's needed to maintain good mental health in these uncertain times! Enjoy your weekend friends!!My baby granddaughter who was born 3 months early will be 3 weeks old tomorrow. She is up to 1 lb 12.4 oz and breastfeeding 15 ml now. That's a 5 oz gain in 3 weeks. I never truly realized how important those little steps are. It's really not about loosing or gaining pounds. It's about getting stronger physically and mentally. She is getting stronger and those are the baby steps we talk about!
