Zingers....YUMM!!!! I have been ignoring the Zingers in the vending machine at work which we are on a first name basis so they are calling me. Ha! Ha! The vending guy talks to me often so he makes sure to put extra in there cause he knows I like them. I have thought about asking him not to put any in there at all (which he would do for me) but I don't want to deprive others of the pleasure. I mean I'm the one who has to lose weight not them. Anyway, I have been allowing myself a "cheat day" on Saturday which works really well for me....SOOOOO.... I thought since I went all week without having any Zingers that I would buy some and take them for my "cheat day" tommorow.

Yum! I enjoyed my Zingers on my "cheat day". They actually tasted better knowing that I didn't indulge in them EVERYDAY at work like I was before starting here. Somehow it made them taste even better. I think because I ate them with a thought of accomplishment instead of guilt or regret.

    Man, I really love Zingers!

But... My wife and I avoid "Trigger Foods." Basically foods that drive you into an eating frenzy. Zingers might be a trigger food for me. I eat a zinger... i'm totaly wanting something salty so I will eat chips.. then I totaly want a drink so I grab a Dr. Pepper, then I want something sweet so I eat more zingers. The whole thing goes in circles over and over until I am too full to get up or have to do something else for the day.

Oh... Naomi.. zingers are like twinkies... only better... and covered with frosting.. and filled with cream... and horribly horribly bad for me. Chocolate zingers... mmmmmm.....
