Sing it with me! Monday, Monday... there's less of me....

Monday, April 21, 2008

Hey! I weighed in this morning - 3 pounds gone gone gone!

Gone for good and I don't mind a bit. *grins*

Was it walking all over Tokyo on Friday? Drinking more fluids all week long? Making more sensible eating choices? Trying new exercise routines? Getting back into The FIRM workout DVDs?

I'm not sure what it was - but today the scale said I weighed less and that's GREAT news, isn't it?

That being said, I have to confess. *scuffs toe in dirt* I was slightly naughty and gave in to a guacamole/chip craving and ate ENTIRELY too much. I felt terrible afterwards, and not because I ate some high fat foods..... but because I ate too, too much! Physically I felt awful. Portion control, where did you go???? I will definitely do better next time. Feeling overfull was terrible. (Though the guacamole was amazingly tasty. I just can't bring myself to regret that!)

I'm not going to dwell on it - just learn from the experience and move on! I was able to get a workout in Saturday and Sunday was a blissful day off. I didn't do a single solitary bit of intentional exercise, but we somehow wound up walking to the grocery store to pick up a few things. *grins* Amazing how things work out sometimes, isn't it?

I hope you all had a fabulous weekend!! Embrace the day!!! You never know what opportunity might be around the next corner.
