210. Doctor's Visit, Anyone?

Tuesday, June 03, 2008

The scale is my nemesis... but so's everything else weight related.

I'm tracking my food, my drinks, my exercise..... and the scale stays the SAME. 210. Ish. Never lower. Occasionally a wee smidge higher.

My jeans are a smidge loose, but that may be my imagination.

I haven't measured myself, like, ever so I don't have that comparison - but I'm frustrated. I get to 210 and just.... stop.

Why? A mental block? The scale is broken and I really weigh 190? (hah! right...)

I'm not putting tons of emphasis on my weight, but it's disheartening to see the number stay still. For weeks. Weeks!

.......... I'm going to attempt to make an appointment at the doc's office. Maybe they can help?

Maybe. emoticon

The Doc's might be a good idea if you feel like you are hitting a wall and getting frustrated. (Been there/done that.)

Weight isn't the whole answer.....it's about finding a place you feel good, look good to you and are comfortable. I tend to go more by size than weight. I have a size I prefer to be at....that I know I can mentally and emotionally deal with. When I get near a scale I get upset and unrealistic. I forget about my bone structure, muscle mass, etc. It can be really bad joujou.
