I am almost half way to my goal weight ? Really?

Saturday, June 28, 2008

It is June 28, 2008. I am up super early for a saturday, couldn't sleep due to this awful cough I have from my allergies, and it hit me when I weighted in this morning.......... I have almost made it HALF WAY to my goal weight! Really????
I checked again, yes there it is in big block numbers. I have lost 33lbs. I have 5 more to go to get to my half way point. I wanted it to be by this month that I got there, and I probably could have, if LIFE had not happened, LOL but I see now, I see it! It is happening, I am getting healthy, I am getting thinner!
So it didn't happen by June, so it happens by July, I am ok with that, HALF WAY!

I am finding that it is getting harder for me to burn as many calories as I used to but you know what, that too is ok, I know I will get there. I am not on Sparkpeople very often, I weigh in and I try to be supportive to all of you but I just can't stay on here all day or I would never get the weight off! LOL You see I get so captivated by everyone's posts and stories that I just can't pull myself away! I want to say a big THANK YOU for all the support I have been given from everyone and will continue to have I am sure. Without it I really don't think I would have gotten this far. Six months into my plan for a life change and I am halfway to my goal weight! Thank you

    emoticon Congrats! thats fantastic.

And true, you may start losing weight a little slower as you approach your goal weight ... but hey it wont be HARDER! And once you get to maintainance weight you actually get to up your calories consumed, lol. :)

I cant wait to see you make even more progress!
