New Motivation

Monday, July 14, 2008

I was scheduled for a liver biopsy for the 18th of this month. My liver levels have been slightly elevated. They are thinking it is probably what they call a fatty liver. I talked to my doctor on Friday and told him I have lost 14 lbs since my blood work was done. So instead of doing the biopsy we are getting my blood work done again in November. I am so glad not to be having some thing stuck in my side to take a piece of my liver out. They were just going to numb my side. emoticon That definately doesn't sound like fun. Now each time I think of not exercising or eating an extra serving that I don't need I can remind myself of the biopsy that I might have to have if I don't stay on track this time.

Sad though it maybe that it took this; a medical issue to initiate a must do but I am so glad that it happened this way and not the other way around too.And you know it I'll be there by your side to help you each step of the way! And yes congrats on your loss so far!

SECOND, I am so glad the biopsy got put off and new blood work will be ordered. I hope everything turns out great for you. This is definitely great motivation and I am sure that you will succeed in avoiding that biopsy :)
