Getting back to basics

I have been trying to be good but since my boys went back to school it has been harder to exercise. By the time I help them with homework and get dinner done I am finished for the day. I also haven't been as good about measuring servings and writing everything down. I have been a little stressed because I have been made part time at work. So I went down drastically in hours and lost my good free insurance. We are able to get insurance from my husband work but we have to pay for it. So I am currently looking for work too. We have been slow at work because of the housing industry so I am hoping that we will pick up soon and I will be back to full time soon, but I can't wait and see.
Anyway, I am committing my self to writing everything that goes into my mouth down and exercising at least 30 min 5-6 times a week and 2-3 times a week doing my strength training. I know I have to step it up a notch since I have been letting it slide a bit. I can do this!
