Learning to Love the Treadmill

I admit.. I use to be so envious of those of you who can burn it up on the treadmill - 5 and 6 mph for what seemed like an eternity, while I walked a brisk 4.0 mph. So fast forward 5 months and I'm finally hanging in there. WOW- The best part is I actually love it now. I look forward to it. Nothing more stress relieving than a good run. The feeling of accomplishment can't be replaced. My old excuse favorite... "Its too cold out I'll freeze when I leave the gym" has been replaced with a big coat, hat and gloves. This powerful machine is helping me to slim down tremendously. If I can encourage anyone by this.. I use to do 20 min at 4.0 mph, it took a long time for me move away from wanting to jump off because of that uncomfortable I'm out of breath feeling. Push yourself farther than what your body is comfortable with.. this is when you see results. I absolutely with a doubt can actually say that I'm In Love!
