Stupid Magazine Article!

I don't remember the name of the magazine but I just did a survey in regards to if I am "destined" to be fat and according to it, I am and I can not get it out of my head!

My husband tells me that he doesn't understand why I can't lose weight. He sees that I don't eat "that" bad and I work out 3-4 days a week, if I could fit it in more, then I would and will once the weather gets better again. On Mondays I usually do Turbo Kick at the Y for 50 minutes, Tuesdays I try to get to the Piyo (pilates/yoga) class but my kids are still to young to stay home by themselves and that is their dad's bowling night. Wednesday's I either do the eleptical machine for 30 minutes and weights for another 20-30 minutes at the Y or I do a video at home. Thursdays-whatever I can get in as well. Saturday mornings I try to get to the gym for an hour before we head off to the kids' sports events but sometimes I am out a little too late with friends to be able to get up early. : ) I usually don't watch TV until 9 at night and then only until 10. Everyone is bed by then and that is my veg time. Is it true...am I just destined to be fat?! Ugh! The journey!

However, to be honest....since I started measuring my food at the beginning of this month...to this day I have lost 5 pounds and it feels oh so nice! Hopefully this is what I needed to get it kicked up again. I am 'DESTINED' to prove this article wrong!!

    Um, no, you're not destined to be fat! LOL! I didn't think I ate poorly or could do better... For over 10 years, my entire adult life, I thought "This is it". Then one day I was tired of not feeling good, and I started tracking ALL, 100% of my food on SparkPeople, did their program (with the different stages) - measured, adjusted, tweaked... I was my own little chemist! And that's how I easily lost 100 pounds!

    WHAT THE HECK! I almost wished I started earlier, but, then, I wouldn't have SP. You can definitely acheive what you want - WITHOUT starving yourself or going into exercise overdrive.

    It's great that you already have a routine. Shake it up a little, round it out. I'm sure you'll be amazed at the results too!

    Hey, you go girl! I have been feeling the same way wondering if my struggle to get the weight off, even though it seems like I'm doing every thing right, is just not meant to be. Somehow I keep on keeping on. You've inspired me today to keep at it.

    YES! Prove it wrong!!! And Turbo Kick!!!!!! OMG I do Turbo Jam DAILY and lalalaLOVE it!!! I've never done Turbo Kick in the gyms, but I know they're about the same, just diff names, right?
