First race done

Hey everyone!
I've had a few people ask so I thought I'd let everyone know that my first race went really well! I shaved 2 mins off my time and finished my 10K in under 50 mins! I'm pretty proud of myself and actually found out that I got 11th in my age category! The day was a little cold but at least the sun was shining! I definitely want to do another one and have even looked into taking a course at the Running Room to train for a half marathon (it's kind of neat because they train you for a particular run...so you train with a bunch of people and then you all run it together). I will have to look into it after Ireland but I definitely want to do it.
