The Wagon Awaits!

It's official - I've fallen off the wagon for the first time this battle.... I actually slowed down and then stopped in my weight loss - even gained 2 lbs of my 25 back. I then did the dreaded "oh well". That led to a candy bar "because I'm still smaller than I started" and that led to a nap instead of exercise "because I'm really tired today" and so on until I realized that in about 1 week I was returning to all of my ugly old habits... you know the ones... the ones that will lead to gaining back one more pound at a time til I'm right back where I started - if not heavier.... I'm sure you recognize some of these:
bed time snack at 10:00
pop with lunch instead of water
not enough water
chocolate bar for afternoon snack

The article reminded me that even the most successful losers have setbacks. I am now ready to jump back on that wagon with both feet and pick up where I left off! You see, the wagon is always waiting - usually right where we left. So there my wagon sits. Ready to be ridden for another 50+ pounds!
