Touch touch touch

Sunday, August 09, 2009

Had a game of touch today and loved it. We won 6-3 and I felt really good running around. The problem is that after getting home and if I sit down, when I get up I walk like an 'old woman' hobbling around. My back aches and my hips hurt!!!

There is no way I'll stop running, but my body makes me pay for it!!

Oh, heck. Pass me another voltaren!!

Do you take fish oil capsules and glucosamine 1500. It really helped with joint stiffness with me. Have read that bee pollen and or flaxseed oil or capsules are good for this and general health.

Voltaren is a brand name for dyclofenac potassium in NZ.
I find it my magic pill, although you have to be careful and take it with food as it can be harmful to your stomach if taken for a long time or in high doses.

In NZ lots of athletes take it regularly during sports events (older athletes ;) )
as it keeps swelling down and helps you to keep going.

It is probably sold under a different brand name in the USA. emoticon emoticon emoticon

    Touch, touch, touch.
Glad you had FUN and winning is great too.

    Now, I have one question.
What the heck is a voltaren?

My guess would be an aspirin or another aspirin/pain reliever substitite.

    Have a great day
They say that activity is the best thing for arthritis, but you can't prove it by me, most of the time. I have to work THRU my pain, LOL
