I went to Boston again this weekend to see my mother - and brother and sister-in-law. So this interrupts my routine, if there is such a thing any longer! And it makes it harder to stick to an eating and exercise plan.

Given these constraints, I availed myself of every opportunity to go with my sister-in-law to walk the dogs. Not only did I get a little bit of walking in several times a day, I thoroughly enjoyed the cooler Boston air. What glorious weather we had this weekend!

And it was great having the time to visit with her; that made walking very easy. I wonder if I could talk my daughter into joining me on walks. It's worth a try, although every effort last week to get C. to join me at the gym ended in an excuse from her.

I wish my dog weren't such a rambunctious idiot; it isn't fun to walk her, I get yanked around the block and my arms and shoulders hurt. Perhaps if I persevere, she will get the idea that it's more enjoyable for her as well if she pulls a little less.

Thanks! This is a dog who flunked puppy training - has a strong will of her own. She was the teacher's pet, but he flunked her anyway. LOL

Maybe get a video about training dogs. It's really rather easy, not a first hand comment. My girlfriend had bark busters come to the house, only took a few times and the dog is doing really well. I know there are inexpensive video's out there that will teach you you the same thing for a lot less.

Anyway, congrats on the xtra walks.
