Little change-feels good

I've been walking with a friend on separate treadmills in separate houses. I love my uninterrupted time talking with my friend. It is a great way to start the day. But, my treadmill is not going very fast these days. I need to replace it. Plus I don't have the time to get my entire walk done before I have to drive my boys to an early morning seminary class.
So I am walking with another friend after everyone gets off to school. I have been getting over 6,000 steps before my breakfast. It is great. I am easily getting more than 10,000 the couple of days that I have been doing it.
I am feeling good about this new habit.
I will have to do Walk away the pounds or something when the weather turns and my friend does not want to walk in the rain.
