Verse of the Day

“Be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.”- Ephesians 5:1-2

To be an imitator of Jesus means obedience and dedication to the Father. When we do these things the Father is happy. But this is more than just outward appearances, it also includes the inward. We have to care for ourselves physically and emotionally to be obedient and dedicated. That is what we are all trying to do here at Jesus made sure his body was in prime functioning order. One of the most important things he did was to take time to rest. As important as it is to push forward without rest we tire and become ineffective. Even the Father rested on the seventh day after He created our world. Rest is just as important as work, when we work hard at what we are doing. Work hard to maintain the Temple of the Lord, it is important we are fit and ready for any situation we may be in. But without rest we may find trouble.

God Bless

If we lived more consciously that we are Temples of the Lord, we'd sure treat ourselves better, wouldn't we? Great meditation - thanks. emoticon
