Stress the positive #1
Saturday, March 13, 2010
Okay, a new challenge to pay more attention to the positive. I'm going to try to focus on at least one positive thing every day. Perfect timing since the negative has been overwhelming me recently. There are so many positives in my life that I don't know why the negative seems to have the upper hand so often....
In any case, here we go:
1. The obvious one---Bell's palsy has been a hidden blessing since it has taught me how many friends I have, shown me how much support there really is around me, and given me a new appreciation for both my own health and the strength of others who are struggling with serious and chronic illness. Thank you, Bell's palsy virus! I could have lived without you, but you've given me genuine insight and real knowledge.
p.s. No "cardio" yesterday, but I did do ten minutes today so Woo Hoo! Another positive!
