I was at work today, starting to complain, as usual, about how loooong it's taking me to get over my little health problem when my colleague told me about his friend, a woman of 55, who went to the doctor last month with a pain in her back. She thought it was a slipped disc of some sort. They soon diagnosed advanced cancer, and she was dead within the course of a week.
So, this is yet another warning. Savor every minute! Cherish every second, every experience, every encounter, every inconvenience, problem, challenge, change. Every breath.

Oh, I do cherish each day and moment...and take life as it comes, embracing the good and the not-so-good. We've lived through so much (3 of us having cancer, my husband with an advancing muscular disease, losing our home in a flood...) and we've emerged stronger and more aware through it all!

How awful....I worry about cancer cause I have cysts on the pancreas, but for three years now they are okay. Dr. said just to keep an eye on them with yearly tests.

I guess worrying about it won't do any good so I am trying to "get on with living."
