An interesting weekend ahead

Maybe not everybody's cup of tea, but I'm looking forward to it.

Early to bed and early to rise: up before the crack of dawn on Saturday to take a friend to the airport and to get to my 5k by 7 am. Let's hope there's sushi at the finish line, but if last time is any indication, it won't matter what's there, I'll be famished. It's amazing how ravenous this small body can get.

By 11:30 on Saturday, the sheetrock guy should be there. Something ate a hole in the ceiling in the living room. And yet I haven't heard any scurrying or tromping in the attic. Very curious.

DD has been put on notice that she has a date with me Saturday night for some energetic tossing out and cleaning. She suggested a friend of hers might like to help, so I volunteered to fix dinner for them. I'm thinking pasta primavera since DD is vegan. Maybe a side of roast beast since the friend and I are omnivores.

On Sunday morning Sophie and I are doing the Humane Society K-9 Fun Run. I'll look OK in my new T-shirt, but Sophie is going to look downright spiffy in her Fun Run bandanna! And then we'll pick up the other daughter and figure out something fun to do. Maybe some more tossing out and cleaning.....
