Killing Fat... slowly

Just finished the 30 Day Shred dvd. Good night, 20 minutes later and my muscles are jelly. I was pretty energized by the time the 3rd cardio segment came around -- probably could have handled a few more of those, but the rest served as a wake up call at how our of shape I am strength-wise. I haven't been in a good ST routine for long, but I feel like my arms are a little firmer. I like that =0)

Still on track eating wise. Trying to do EXTRA well this week (low end of spectrum), as I have a bachelorette party and wedding shower this weekend. Aiming for a light lunch on Saturday and a light dinner on Sunday! Luckily, since several girls are from out of town, I'm hosting some overnight guests -- which means I'm putting in some extra workouts cleaning to prepare. Also trying to clear out the extra bedroom (finally) so that there will be space for all of A's stuff. I forgot that getting married meant all kinds of work that isn't wedding related.

    I love when I can do something that needs doing, but it also burns calories! Like the mosaic mural, it's a ton of work - but fun - and burns a lot of cals!

    Yeah... I know it is good stuff and needed. I don't know why it often requires more motivation from me -- especially when it can be accomplished quickly and while doing other things (well, reading, watching tv, etc...)

    I know what you mean with the ST... Yesterday was my first strength training session. My arms felt like Jello. But I know if I stick with it I'll be stronger in no time!
